Language birth is a kind of event where a language appear and used by the community. Language birth through long process. Language birth can be formed by mixing of two or more languages. The formation of a new language is usually the result of a mixture of vocabulary. The mixing of the vocabulary will be mastered by one of the languages called the matrix language. The matrix language has a strong position in the new language because the matrix language controls the development of the new language. Merging two or more languages takes considerable time until the language becomes a new permanent language like Tiong Pa language in Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia.

Compound Words is a part of elements that finding in morphology. Morphology is learning about morpheme and morpheme is the element of  language  that have meaning and also support the meaning. The morphology will involve two element, they are free element and not free element. The problem in this research is analyzing compound words that find in Jakarta Post. Compound words that describe in this research is closed compound words.

            This research is kind of linguistic. This research also use descriptive qualitative method. The method of this research is the method that describe the word, sentences and paragraph which take from the source data with describe the meaning of the data. Beside that, this research also use library research. The library research just talk about the data that already prepare by the analyze data that have been get from the source data by using basic theories that support this research. In this research, the researcher take the source data from one edition of Jakarta Post Newspaper. All of data that needed come from that source.

            The first step that use by the researcher is collecting the basic data which take from the source data. After that the basic data will be collecting, so the researcher will be grouping the data based on the type. Based on the limitation problem of this research just analyze four problems, so analyzing the data just describe four problems. The first problem is the form  of compound words are combining that find in Jakarta Post Newspaper. The second problem is what is the meaning of compound word before and after combination. The third is the syntactic function  of  compound words that has been combined. And the last is the rule that have in compound words.

            Based on the research, the researcher find the unique of the word that appear from the compound words. among if one word combine with another word so the word have a different  meaning. There are some meaning still follow the basic meaning and also there are some meaning make a new meaning and doesn’t describe the two words. the unique take from the form data, the function and also the rule that have in the  words. Based on this research, the  researcher understand about the compound words.

The problem in this thesis is the life of a knight who has to choose between duty and love. Dif analysis on the main task because on one side must perform his duties as a knight, and on the other side must follow his conscience to get his love. The problem of duty and love does not fit in the story. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the duties and responsibilities of the knight in performing his duty to the country where the knight is also confronted with his feelings and love, be a confrontation between the duty and responsibility to the knight. In this writing, literature research is taken as a method of data. As for the method of data analysis, the authors perform comparative procedures with the understanding of novels, figures, and also psychiatric theory. Technical techniques data data research results relevant to the research. In data analysis techniques, the author uses the technique of genetic structuralism by analyzing the knight in the Ivanhoe novel through psychic theory, the writer must see the confrontation that the knight must enter in choosing a task or love. The findings in this thesis are: 1) the knight prefers the task to fullness and prefers love in the end, 2) at the beginning of the story, the knight prefers to give priority to his duty to the king so that he is carried away Rowena, his beloved girl 3) At the end of the story, the knight returns to give priority to his love for Rowena.

Slavery to Social life's Racialism analyzes the disclosure of a black-life tragedy of slavery and racism in their social life. The author takes data from Dunbar's poems: We Wear the Mask, The Debt, Sympathy, Life's Tragedy and The Paradox. In these five poems the author analyzes how slavery that has taken place in America on the basis of the five poems of Dunbar, some kind of racism that the author finds in the five poems of Dunbar, and the result of social slavery to the black social life in America that the author finds in The five poems of Dunbar.

This research method is descriptive qualitative, which try to explain about correlation between writer life background which pour through poetry and its influence to human social life. In analyzing the five poems of Dunbar, the author uses a psychological approach that discusses the psychology of human personality which is the theory of Sigmund Freud including the id, ego, and the human superego. The main source of data obtained from the five poems Dunbar namely: We Wear the Mask, The Debt, Sympathy, Life's Tragedy and The Paradox. Other sources come from articles and internet books.

From the analysis of the five poems of Dunbar, the authors found that (1) Slavery and human rights abuses against blacks in America are reflected through the five poems of Dunbar. (2) The author finds some form of racism such as the occurrence of discrimination and persecution that caused the suffering of blacks in America on the basis of the fifth poems of Dunbar and (3) There have been proven consequences of the slavery experienced by blacks in America that the author has discovered from the fifth Dunbar's poetry is like feeling oppressed or experiencing the mental stress that causes blacks in America to suffer.

This thesis discusses the issue of racial prejudice in America described in the novel The Color of Water written by James Mcbride. This analysis focuses on how blacks are perceived differently by other races in America such as whites. In this study, the authors analyzed three problems, the first why race prejudice occurred in America. How racial prejudices against blacks as uneducated people, how racial prejudice against blacks as criminal.

            In analyzing the literary work, the author uses postcolonial theory, it is this theory that allows us to see how the colonial influence both during colonization lasted, before, and after the colonialization ended like today. This theory has a very important meaning, The hidden problems contained behind the facts that have occurred, and very in accordance with the problems contained in the novel the color of water.

            In this study, the authors found a 1). bad relationship between the minority and the majority in the United States really happened. 2). Minorities such as blacks get white prejudices. This disharmony of relationships has some impact on the minority itself, the impact of which can be seen from how the quality of life of these minorities. 3).  Another consequence of the harmony of the relationship is the emergence of awareness and motivation in the minority to be equal to the majority.

Problems in this thesis is about women, because of discrimination against women, there were resistance can be seen from the main character in the play A Doll's House and his struggle to obtain equality between women and men. Because women do not have to live forever under the pressure of men and not women may not work forever and forever no woman should take care of the children and her husband, like the main character Nora who willingly broke the law for the sake of getting the equality between men and women.

This research method is a method of data collection, data analysis methods while the author does a systematic procedure with an understanding of the drama. Engineering data collection using the technique of qualitativ in finding relevant data with subject and author data analysis techniques using structural engineering by way of analyzing the drama based on the elements that shape it. In analyzing this drama author using psychology approach discusses the human personality which is the theory of Sigmund Freud includes the id, ego, superego man.

Research results from the play A Doll House, the authors have found that the presence of the Suppression of freedom 1) inside the Doll House, 2) the existence of discrimination on the main character Nora in a doll's House, 3) as well as the struggle to be free from discrimination that had befallen him.

The Bear is a literary work written by anton chekov in 1880 which tells of the story of a widow who dissolves in sorrow after being dying by a beloved husband who then personality or his formerly gentle, polite nature turned into a rough and grumpy as being carried away with a collector Harsh debt but turned into a romantic and gentle. Changes in attitudes that occur to the store antagonist and protagonist caused by loneliness and needs that harbor the sense of mutual need that in the end both are equally in love.

The problem in this thesis is feminism in education, occupation and social as seen in Maya Angelou’s poems. Feminism is the struggle of movement women rights in economic, education, occupation, politic, social and different culture with men. In these poems, having the theme like struggle rights of women, women rights in self-confidence, hidden beauty, although the skills of her own feels more superior than men

The finding in this analysis is 1). Angelou wants to voice the women must be more educated that can stand in patriarchal society, in basically women must get the rights equality in education like men. 2). Angelou wants to voice the women must get rights equality in occupation, like equality wages between men and women. 3). Angelou wants to voice nobody can do insult in physical or non-physical. In basically, degree of human its same front of Allah and society.

This thesis tell about a drama Glass Menagerie by Tennessee William. This drama memory play of narrator, Tom wingfield. He is an aspiring poet which work in warehouse to support his mother, Amanda and his sister, Laura. Mr. wingfield, Tom’s father, ran off family years ago, except for one postcard, has not been haeard from since. Amanda, originally from a genteel family, regales her children frequently with tales of her idyllic youth and the scores of suitors who once pursued her. She is disappointed that Laura, who wears a brace one her leg and is painfully shy, does not attract any gentlemen callers. Amanda then decides that Laura’s last hope must lie in marriage and begins selling magazine subscriptions to earn the extra money she believes will help to attract suitors for Laura.

There is always discrimination against women in any field, as experienced by the main character Elizabeth Bennet in the novel Pride and Prejudice. Because women can not accept the inheritance from their fathers, therefore women are required to marry rich men to improve social class and economic life. Discrimination of women in the inheritance of wealth makes women have to struggle in finding rich men to marry. In the data analysis method the author performs a systematic procedure with a novel understanding, the main character of Elizabeth Bennet and also feminist theory, the technique used in this research is a structural technique by analyzing novels based on the elements that make up.

The results of this study found that: 1) the discrimination of women in the inheritance of his father's estate, 2) the main character of Elizabeth Bennett describes the strength of women, because of his firm and wise in facing all problems in his life, 3) the women's struggle was carried out by Elizabeth Bennet in Find his true love and marry on the basis of love until it ends happily, but so many obstacles he faces both from the outside and from himself.

In this thesis, the author uses a psychological approach. This approach saw the development of characters in literary works that are a reflection of the true human psyche. This approach also explains the character changes in the main characters.

               The purpose of this study is for the reader to know the ambitions and dreams of what is in the drama of the death of Salesman, and the results obtained from this analysis is that material satisfaction greatly affects the lives of Americans especially Willy loman, the main character in this drama he Very ambitious to achieve material satisfaction such as home, money, success, wealth, honor, equality of rights so that people around him will put respect and sympathy.

The thesis discusses about novel my sister’s keeper written by Jodi picoult. This novel describes the relationship between a family that has a complicated problem between the child and the mother. Problems that occur in the family is caused by the favoritism of parents to their children and one of the family members suffered severe disease in this novel.

derivation and inflection Morpheme  is one of the elements present in the field of morphology. Where the morphology is the study of morphemes, and morphemes are elements of language that have the meaning of the free element and bound elements. The problems that exist in this research is to analyze the morpheme of derivation and inflection contained in Jakarta Post. By understanding the derivation and morpheme inflection it can easily develop vocabulary, from one word can gain many meanings

               This research is a type of research belonging to linguistic field. The research also used qualitative descriptive research method. This research method is a method that refers to the form of words taken from the data source by explaining the intent of data intention. In addition, this research also uses research libraries (library research). This literature research only discusses existing data data by processing and developing data by using morphological theory that supports the research.

               The first step used by the author is to collect data taken from the source, after that the data are all collected then the writers classify the data in several groups. Since in this study only discusses the three topics of the problem, the first is to classify all types of derivation and morpheme inflection found in the Jakarta Post newspaper, the second is the function of each morpheme, and the last is the rule that belongs to the derivation and morpheme inflection The.

               Based on this study, the writers found the uniqueness caused by derivation and morpheme inflection when combined  with other morphemes. If the morpheme derivation is compared with the free morpheme it will have a different meaning and sometimes even change the word class. While morpheme inflection when compared with free morpheme it will have a grammatical function.

This thesis title is Language Utterance Among India Community in Padang

The writer focusing on the language that utter among India community in Padang. The India people usual talk and communication with other with mix language which another did not know. The writer seek this as uniqueness that can be describe by code mixing theory and sociolinguistik.

            The writer uses sociological theory for reach the purposes of the research. Purposes of the research is to descirbe the language change that happen in India community in Padang.. language change that happens have relate with linguistic theories. After getting the data, the writer , makes formula from the code mixing that utter in India community in Padang. This research uses field research method for get the significant data and library research for get the theories that will be uses as basic theory in this thesis. Technique collecting of data is qualitative method, which the writer get the data from 7 qualified interviewee based on criteria ( NORM (Nonmobile Older Rural Males). From it, the writer uses record technique for get the data.

            The results from the research that has been done, the wrier finds language change that influence  by another ethnic such Minang, Tionghoa Padang and Indonesia. The changing are, vowel /i/ change into /e/ in medial, disappearance /h/ in final,initial and medial. Disappearance /r/ in final and medial, absorption /at/ become /?/ in final,absorption /u/ become /o/ in medial and final, absorption /t/ become /k/ in final, absorption  /a/ into /o/ in final, absorption /p/ into /?/, absorption/ŋ/ into /aŋ/ in final, absorption /e/ become /a/ in medial and initial. Disappearance /e/ in medial, disappearance /d/ in initial, and medial,also disappearance /p/ in final. Code mixing that utter by India community that has been describe by code mixing theory, and become a formula from it.

The problem in this thesis is the irony of love story between two human beings who are in love, the irony occurs when the fate has separated their love story. The tragic story of Hazel and Augustus' love is inspired by the author's visit to chronic cancer patients at the hospital, about their hopes and love that would be impossible to achieve.

In this writing, library research is taken as the method of data collection. As for data analysis method, the writer performs systematic procedures by understanding the novels, the characters of Hazel and Augustus, as well as the structural theory. Data collection technique uses documentation technique in finding relevant data to the subject of analysis. In data analysis techniques, the writer uses structural technique by analyzing the novel based on the elements that shape them.

The results of research in this thesis are: 1) destiny seems to separate the love story of Hazel and Augustus, where Hazel is suffered from the chronic cancer while Augustus is in good shape, but Augustus is willing to love Hazel until the end of life, 2) destiny continues to play their love story, this time it is August that suffers from chronic illness and is on the verge of death, while Hazel's condition is getting better. This time, it is Hazel that loves Augustus until the end of his life, and faithfully accompanied him; 3) the irony has occurred in the love story of Hazel and Augustus where the unfair destiny has turned the deaths and hopes on both of them, the one who is almost dies has become better, on the contrary the one who is healthy has been picked by the death in the end. The love story and hope of being together have been ironically played by the fate.

The problem in this thesis is the utterances by the candidate of presidential debate Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump to get the support from the audience and can be a President of America. The candidates give suggestion and negative comment  for the audience that he or she was the best to be a president of America.

In this writing, The writer use qualitative method of collecting data because of the element that used come from textual material, which data collected with utilize all of the information and the relevant thought. The writer use library research that kinds of qualitative method for analyze the data. Sarwono (2006:226) mention that library research use for analyze from textual data with systematically. In the writer point of view, this method is correctly use for analyzing this proposal. The writer will collect the data and categorized the primary data to secondary data with used pragmatics implicature function that is assertive function, directive function and expressive function and choose only some of the data for sampling.

The results of research in this thesis are the function of pragmatics implcature that was used the most is expressive function. From three presidential debate if Hillary Clinton and Donald trump.

The problem in this thesis is the racial discrimination from white community against black community that was their former slave in the past, the author analyzes three poems by Zephaniah based on the issue of racial discrimination. Poem represents the poet’s feeling about the social phenomena that surrounds him, and these poems are also the form of protest against racial discrimination.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the treatment from white communities against black communities that consider that their race to be superior compared to their former slaves. The manifestation of racial discrimination can be seen from the attitude of prejudice, insulting words and remarks, and the acts of oppression on black community. In this writing, library research is taken as the method of data collection. As for the method of data analysis, the author performs systematic procedures by understanding of the poem, the theme of racial discrimination, and also the theory of psychology. Data collection technique uses qualitative techniques in finding the data in form of explanation on the phenomenon that occurs. In the technique of data analysis, the writer uses genetic structuralism techniques by analyzing the oppression of black society in Zephaniah’s poems through psychology theory.

The findings in this thesis are: 1) in the poem of The Race Industry, white society always oppresses black society so that they have to work hard but do not get the result that they deserves, 2) in poem We Refugee, white society always have prejudice against black people because of their skin color and not because of their actions, 3) in Dis Poetry, white community always says provocative words and remarks to offend black people.

The problem in this thesis is the symbols contained in the civil war in Spain. The problem in this study is social impact from North Carolina citizen for the main character’s life. In the novel, Noah’s life is influenced by his social life, especially his love story with Allie. They are separated because of the difference of social class and people’s view about them who come from different status.

From the result of this study found that, 1) social impact from people around to the main character in The Notebook novel, that is separating social class into three types, low class, middle class and high class, 2) social impact also influenced by the environment , which is North Carolina has beautiful view and make the people love their hometown by writing the poem, but in other side, environment makes space between people and their social status, 3) social impact is influenced by North Carolina citizen’s view who separate people based on the social class, and it makes the interaction between low class and high class is very limited, especially in relationship and marriage.

The notebook is a romantic novel by literary writer Nicholas Sparks. The analysis focuses on the story line narrated by Noah Calhoun. Noah is a young man from a poor family, Noah is in love with Allie a girl from a wealthy family.

This research uses a structural approach. This approach is a pure approach to literature mixing other disciplines into the discussion. The theory used is the extrinsic theory of literature itself, and is also supported by the flow theory where the character Noah Calhoun seeking his true love. This study also uses structural methods, in which all data is only analyzed in the elements that make up the literary works themselves, such as grooves and characterizations.

In this study the authors found: (1) Noah left Allie because Allie's parents did not approve of their love story, and Noah decided to go to war. Allie's parents did not approve of their relationship because noah was born from a poor family. And Allie's parents set her up with another man. (2) Noah's love affair occurs when Noah reunites with Allie and new problems arise when Allie is already fiancee with another man. Problems can be seen when the relationship is contrary to the parent because of the difference in status. But Allie kept making sense to Noah about her parents' decisions. (3) when Noah returns with Allie after Allie realizes that she loves Noah over Lon and after Allie's parents see her daughter's love for Noah they finally agree on the relationship. This novel tells about the love of the first story that turned into true love. And this novel tells about how a character Noah to be able to maintain his first love despite many obstacles.

This research aims to analyze to illustrate the kind of bully action that do Dursleys, Draco Malfoy and Professor Severus Snape in Harry Potter. To describe the factors that trigger the Dursleys, Draco Malfoy and Professor Severus Snape take action against bully Harry Potter. To illustrate the social impact of the bully acts committed by the Dursleys, Draco Malfoy and Professor Severus Snape in Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Joanne Kathleen Rowling.

The method of the research is descriptive qualitative, which tries to explain about the correlations between author life background and its influence to the literary work produced. Sources of data in this study include the source of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used in this study is a technique to read and record. The measures undertaken to analyze the data is as follows (1) Read the novel Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone works J.K. Rowling. (2) Marking a sentence or a paragraph discussing about the social context associated with the bully action. (3) Analyzing the results about the social context are associated with the bully, the social picture, and social functions and (4) Describe results.

After analyzing the social factors that Harry Potter bully (intimidated) in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the author concludes the analysis into three findings: first to describe the type of action undertaken bully Dursleys, Draco Malfoy and Professor Severus Snape in Harry Potter. The types of bullying done of verbal bullying, where the actors perform intimidation through their words to a bully victim. Then bullying involving physical contact between the offender and the victim either directly or indirectly. This type of bullying usually include punching, kicking, slapping, choking, biting, spitting, even destroy the belongings of the victims, and relational bullying (friendship). Second to describe the factors that trigger the Dursleys, Draco Malfoy and Professor Severus Snape take action against Harry Potter bully. Factors child's own personal self, namely anxiety and feeling inferior from an agent, competition is not realistic, feelings of resentment arising from hostility or because the bullies had been the victim of bullying before, and the inability to handle emotions positively. Dewan  Perwakilan  Rakyat  Daerah  (DPRD) merupakan  lembaga perwakilan rakyat daerah dan mempunyai peranan yang penting dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan daerah, dimana salah satu tugasnya adalah menjalankan fungsi anggaran yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk pembahasan untuk persetujuan bersama terhadap Ranperda tentang Anggaran Pendapatan  Dan Belanja Daerah Provinsi yang diajukan oleh Gubernur, yang didalamnya termasuk anggaran untuk pelaksanaan fungsi, tugas dan wewenang DPRD Provinsi. Dalam melaksanakan fungsi anggaran terkadang tidak dapat dilaksanakan dengan optimal yang disebabkan karena banyak faktor penghambat yang berasal dari dalam maupun dari luar institusi DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat, sehingga perlu penguatan dalam menjalankan fungsi anggaran.Tujuan penelitian: 1. Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penguatan fungsi anggaran DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat sebagai unsur penyelenggara pemerintahan daerah. 2. Untuk mengetahui hambatan yang ditemui DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat dalam melaksanakan fungsi anggaran dan upaya untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif yuridis normatif, maka dapat disimpulkan: 1. Pelaksanaan penguatan fungsi anggaran DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat dapat dilakukan dengan cara:Pertama, menyampaikan saran dan pokok pikiran DPRD Provinsi kepada Kepala Daerah 5 (lima) bulan sebelum penetapan APBD, Kedua, substansi pokok-pokok pikiran DPRD adalah dari hasil penyerapan aspirasi dan  usulan masyarakat pada saat anggota DPRD melakukan reses dan kunjungan keja daerah berkala di daerah pemilihan masing-masing, Ketiga, peningkatan kapasitas anggota DPRD memulai bimbingan teknis, Keempat, melakukan pembahasan bersama mengenai KUA dan PPAS. 2. Hambahatan yang ditemukan ada 2 (dua), yaitu: Pertama, hambatan internal: (1) sering terjadi perbedaan antara DPRD dengan Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Barat mengenai skala prioritas yang diprogramkan dengan program APBD, (2) masih kurangnya informasi bagi anggota DPRD yang akan dijadikan sebagai dasar penyusunan anggaran, (3), SDM anggota DPRD yang relatif masih rendah, (4) kurangnya partisipasi anggota DPRD dalam pembahasan anggaran, (5) keterbatasan waktu anggota DPRD mempelajari dokumen. Kedua, hambatan eksternal: (1) PEMDA belum taat aturan tentang Pedoman Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah, (2), Kurang tepatnya penyusnan anggaran belanja daerah, (3) penyerahan dokumen anggaran dari SKPD yang terlambat, (4) adanya transisi pemerintahan karena pemilihan kepala daerah. Upaya mengatasi hambatan: (1) peningkatan koordinasi dan sinkronisasi dengan hasil usulan MUSRENBANG setiap masa anggaran yang diusulkan, (2) membuat matrik kegiatan tahunan, (3) peningkatan ketaatan PEMDA terhadap peraturan tentang Pedoman Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah, (4) peningkatan peranserta anggota DPRD dalam pembahasan APBD, (5) pembentukan peraturan perundang-undangan yang jelas mengenai penjadwalan pembahasan APBD, (6) mengikuti BIMTEK bagi seluruh anggota DPRD mengenai anggaran, (7) setiap fraksi di DPRD mewajibkan anggotanya untuk mempelajari RKA tiap SKPD sebelum melakukan pembahasan.

On April 9, 1996, Law Number 4 of 1996 was enacted on the Land and Property Rights related to the land, or more briefly referred to as UUHT (Law on Mortgage Rights). UUHT seeks to provide legal certainty and protection to all parties in utilizing the land as an object of Mortgage Rights.

This tendency is noticed when people use many ways of language variations to communicate or express their thought, ideas, and feelings. One example of these variations is code mixing. Code mixing is insertion of a piece of word other than that of your language, and you have no specific purpose or intention when doing communication. Code mixing is different from borrowing. Code mixing usually happens while people communicate in oral or written and in informal situation. In the case of code mixing, people sometimes mix two languages, particularly between national and a foreign language like English. However, code mixing does not only exist between the languages, there is also the mixing between national and regional languages. The researcher use GADIS to do this research. It was found that there were three forms of code mixing used in advertisement in GADIS. They were words, phrases and sentences which were put in the middle of the sentence of advertisements. Meanwhile, the use of code mixing in advertisements had many functions based on the purposes of communication, as we knew; advertisement was an advertiser’s way to communicate to the consumer, reader in this case. So, in this research it was found that there were three functions of the use of code mixing. They were greeting, informing, and rejecting.

Research on the morphophonemic process of Kerinci language verb is done with the background of many linguistic problems that have not received attention in Kerinci language and very little documentation has been done to the language of Kerinci. This research is done with awareness of the effort to conserve one of the elements of culture, namely language.
This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method, which aims to describe Kerinci language empirically based on the situation or facts that exist in the field and presented with what it is. The informant is a native speaker of Kerinci. Data collection techniques used are recording techniques, elasticity techniques, and techniques refer.

Data analysis technique used in this research is transcribing data into writing language, translating data into Indonesian, and analyzing data. To facilitate the analysis, the data already written and translated into Indonesian language is then classified by word category. The result of this research is that there are four rules of morphophonemic process of verb forming affix, ie {maN-}, {N-}, {bar-}, and {ta-}. The four rules of verb-forming merbophonemic in Kerinci, can be classified again into two processes: phoneme change and phoneme removal processes.
